Our standard range of electronic stepless fan speed controllers (SC) are designed for speed controllable single phase motors from 1.5amps up to 10amps peak current.
All models from 3amp up to 10amp come complete with a double pole illuminated on/off rocker switch (the 1.5amp has no illuminated rocker switch just a standard switch). The controller is also supplied with a black control dial on the face of the panel to regulate the fan speed up and down.
Each unit comes with a minimum and maximum speed adjustment internally mounted (see installation O&M manual for details) along with a spare fuse with each box.
The SC10amp controllers come as standard with TK (Thermal cut out) connections, these TK contactors help protect the motor windings in the event of over heating or a spike in pressure to which the fan cant handle (example a damper shut etc.) – if this happen the TK contactors open and shut the control off. To restart the fan unit again the on/off rocker switch must be pressed to re-start the motor.( A tripped indicator comes on when the TK contacts are open).
